Houkago Princess: 2011
Originally made up of 8 Regular members, Houkago Princess faced their first withdrawal months before they were set to make their indies debut - Hagi Yurika, a 1st generation member, announced that she would leave the group due to poor physical health. Through this, the group became a seven member unit.
A month later in June, Houkago Princess was announced to the public and revealed that they would make their CD debut in August of the same year, titled Houkago Princess ~Oshiete Kudasai~.
From this debut announcement, Houkago Princess revealed that they would take on the concept of 'dress-up Idols', where the fans were able to choose and vote for the members during their theatre performances at Ikebukuro WHITE BASE.
On August 3rd, the group released their debut single, with only one edition available to purchase. This single marked the beginnings of Houkago Princesses journey together as a group.
As of 2012, Houkago Princess ~Oshiete Kudasai~ has become unavailable for purchase and is out of print.
During November 2011, Houkago Princess introduced both Nagafuji Aoi and Kobayashi Rena as the 2nd generation members of the group. Starting out as Candidates, both Aoi and Rena were eventually promoted to the Regular member lineup in December of the same year, following the announcement that Yamaguchi Mai would graduate from the group.
On December 10th, Yamaguchi Mai, the Sports Chairman, graduated from Houkago Princess with a live Sports Festival dedicated to her, with the intent that she would pursue other things in life. This would be the first graduation to happen in Houkago Princess, as well as the second departure, and would leave Houkago Princess as an 8-member unit once more.
On December 24th, Houkago Princess released two venue exclusive singles for those who attended; Juliet ~Kimi wo Suki na 100 no Riyuu~, and Uchuu Ichi no Christmas.
