Houkago Princess LOVE

2012

In 2012, Miho joined Houkago Princess as a 3rd generation Candidate alongside six other girls on June 2nd. She made her single debut with Kojiki Shika! in October of that year.

 

2013

On July 31st 2013, Miho was promoted to the Regular lineup within Houkago Princess. She was the final 3rd generation member to be promoted to the Regular lineup, after one year and a month of being a Candidate / Apprentice.

 

2016

On January 24th 2016, during her Birthday Performance, Miho made the announcement that she would be graduating from Houkago Princess at the end of March. Her decision for graduating was revealed that she wanted to leave on a high note, and after much discussion between the staff and her fellow members, Miho stated confidently that she has made the right decision, and that she will graduate with no regrets. She also believes that, in order for Houkago Princess to become better and shine more, she needs to take this step forward and leave. Miho also revealed that lately, she has wanted to change her environment, and she feels she could only do this if she left the entertainment industry. So, upon her Graduation, she will pursue the life of an ordinary girl, but will still support Houkago Princess as a fan.

 

Her Graduation ceremony was held on March 27th, 2016.

 

On March 29th, Ayase Miho posted her Graduation Letter, titled 'From Me to Everyone - Your Letter~' on her blog.

On June 2, 2012

 

My Houkago Princess life started.

 

I was at the time a college student.

At that time I had yet to determine the road to my future.

 

I passed the audition of Houkago Princess, but had to choose;

Houkago Princess, or a different road in life.

 

I chose Houkago Princes.

 

I'm glad I made that choice, but at first I wondered if I was good at this.

The decision from back then; I can proudly say I was never wrong in making it.

 

For me, Houkago Princess has become an important place.

 

For about 4 years,

there were fun and happy things

Mortifying, sad things.

 

There were a lot of things that happened.

 

For about one year I was a candidate. I began from a small place.

 

Initially, I was bad at synchronization and dancing, always at the very end of the row in the back, behind all of the regular students and watching everyone leave or get promoted.

 

As a 3rd generation cadet student, there were a lot of frustrating things, and soon there was only me.

I felt lonely.

 

But I never gave up, because I wanted to give back to everyone who supported and cheered me on. I absolutely did not want to lose.

 

I felt so much joy when I was promoted to the Regular lineup, and I will never forget that joy.

It was a big step for me.

 

Then a major debut from Universal Music was a dream come true last year.

I have truly walked into a Cinderella story, and it was such a dream that I was able to be a part of these three works.

 

You might say that I was a member who did not stand out in Houpri.

 

But, I have cheered and been cheered on by a lot of people, I have noticed.

Through all the support and kind words, I have become more confident.

 

This was also a place that made me realise I am good.

 

It is a place that was so nice, and a place that makes me really happy, I think.

 

I feel very lonely now, realising that I will be apart from my fellow beloved members.

 

Everyone and all I treasure cannot be replaced by anything. All the things I know and the support everyone has given, the experience and support and the time we had together.

 

Thank you very much for pushing me forward.

 

Houkago Pricess will continue to rapidly accelerate in the future.

 

Houpriyusu will become a reliable presence even more than they are now.

 

I'm sure that some day,

for example, after many years...

The Ayase Miho of Houkago Princess might not be forgotten.

 

I know and believe that you won't.

 

But to go down this new road now,

I will continue to walk forward after Houkago Princess.
