Chiba Sakino joined Houkago Princess as a first generation member in December 2010, and was known for her fashionable personality and love for the fashion industry in general.
Since the groups inception, Sakino was one of the groups more popular members.
2012
On August 17th 2012, Sakino announced her plans to graduate from Houkago Princess in order to pursue a career in fashion. These plans were dropped, however, as Sakino changed her mind after listening to both the other members and the fans, and said she would give herself more time to think over whether she wanted to graduate or not.
2013
On July 5th 2013, Sakino announced for a second time that she would be graduating Houkago Princess. This time she was more than determined to pursue her dream of a career in fashion, and had realised that, despite loving Houkago Princess dearly, she wanted to try something else and knew that she could not continue on in the group with that lingering desire for more.
On July 21st at RUIDO K2, Sakino and Cadet member Aiuchi Kohana both graduated from Houkago Princess.
In September that year, Sakino and Noda Hitomi both announced their return to Idol activities in a new unit, and that they would form the duo SakiHito, too.
In October, both Sakino and Hitomi debuted with their new unit, READY TO KISS, under the Get-Crazy label.
2015
In February 2015, it was announced that READY TO KISS would make their major debut under Stand-Up! Records, a sub-label of Universal Music Japan.
2016
In April 2016, Sakino starred alongside Noda Hitomi in an online commercial for the non-alcholic wine beverage, Duc de Montagne Rose.
