On December 20th, during Houkago Princesses release event for Music Clips 2015~2016, it was announced that Morishita Rina had joined the group as the newest Candidate. She would join Horii Nina as an understudy of the group, with aims to become a Regular member.
On December 22nd, Rina made her stage debut at Zepp Tokyo. On December 27th, she performed alongside Team Miracle for the first time as the newest member.
