Houkago Princess LOVE

Himitsu no Tiara to Gelato is the fourth major single release from Houkago Princess, 11th overall, and released on October 15th, 2016.

The single follows the theme of the 1953 film Roman Holiday, which stars Audrey Hepburn, and sees the members leaving their life as Princesses behind for a day to experience the beauty of Rome. Taking on the role of the beautiful Princess Ann, Houkago Princess will experience the idea of a 24-hour romance through the lyrics of the song.

The single comes in 11 types, with 9 solo member jacket covers, and a Regular CD and a DVD version. All songs included will be the same for each edition, aside from the DVD version, which of course features the Music Video for the title track.

The coupling track has yet to be announced.

Odagiri Nana and Maika will once again lead for the single. Currently, it is said that Sasara also has a role in some of the vocals here.

​

The single was released on Kizuki Saori's 25th birthday, with a dance break lead by Saori in a ballet style.

​

This will be the first single since 2014 to feature new members within the group, as well as a new generation. It is also the first single to feature a 5th generation member since 2013.

​

Principal Photography took place in La Vita, also known as 'Little Venice' in Tokyo for the exterior shots, and the Tokyo National Museum for the interior.

​

Himitsu no Tiara to Gelato is also the last single to feature 5th generation member Nagasawa Marina, after her decision to withdraw from the group at the end of 2016.
