On April 11th 2015, Haruno Akane joined Houpri Youth as new units fourth member.
On June 15th, Akane announced that she would suspend her activities from Houpri Youth due to injuring her foot, which had rendered her unable to perform. She did, however, come along to performances and act as the official MC.
On July 6th the announcement that Akane had withdrawn from the group was made. After being absent from the group since June 15th, both Akane and the staff had discussed her Idol activities and return extensively, and whether she would be willing to continue as an Idol, or if she felt she was too unstable to perform in the near future. Through much consideration, Akane made the decision to cease her activities as an Idol and depart from the unit.
