Biography
2015
In September of 2015, Horii Nina entered the Miss iD 2016 contest that would feature Idols, gravure models, singers and aspiring actresses, with the chance of winning a modelling contract. She also joined the online voting app, CHEERZ, where the votes for the contest would be cast. Nina made it into the semi-finals of the competition.
2016
On January 17th 2016, Horii Nina attended the Miss iD 2016 Grand Prix award, where it was announced that she would join Houkago Princesses little sister unit, Houpriyusu, as their newest member, bringing the group to a total of six members.
From May 1st 2016, Nina was the only Candidate within Houpriyusu.
On July 25th, it was revealed that Nina had done a gravure shoot in Guam, which could potentially result in a DVD. Whilst Nina had not decided whether or not she would pursue gravure, it was made known that various magazines had shown interest in publishing Nina's modelling work.
On September 22nd, Nina participated in the Houkago Princess One-Man Live at Zepp Diver City, Tokyo, and performed with Marina, Mayumi and Sasara one last time as Houpri Youth, before the unit became defunct with the promotions of her seniors. It was also announced during this live that Nina would become a part of the sub-unit, Team Miracle, alongside Sirosaki Himari, Michishige Saho, Nagasawa Marina and Kojima Mayumi.
On November 5th, it was revealed that Horii Nina's gravure debut would be released in the form of a DVD on November 24th. The DVD has been titled Minarai Princess: Horii Nina.
On December 27th, Nina performed with Team Miracle for the first time. On December 29th, she participated in Nagasawa Marina's final live, where she presented her with a cork-board filled with images of the two together.
2017
On January 7th, 2017, it was announced during the live Houkago Princess performance at Shibuya Ruido K2 that Nina had been promoted to Apprentice status. On this day, she also turned 17, and celebrated by singing a solo cover of the song Chippoke na ai no uta, by Ohara Sakurako.
