2015
Izumi Sakura joined Houkago Princess and HouPriyusu on June 9th, 2015 as a new Candidate member. She began participating in events and live performances.
During a performance in October, Izumi injured her foot, and had to suspend her activities with HouPriyusu for an undetermined amount of time. Despite the fact that she could not perform with the group, Izumi did, however, attend the live events the group held.
On December 31st, Izumi released a statement regarding her condition, noting that her doctor had insisted she take a break from dancing and practice with the group, or her foot would not heal and she would continue to make it worse. Despite these implications, Izumi stated that she would work hard on getting better so that she could perform with the group again.
2016
On February 7th 2016, it was revealed that Izumi Sakura would graduate from Houpriyusu in order to pursue her own solo activities within the entertainment industry.
On March 20th, Sakura graduated from Houpriyusu alongside Kamiya Airi. She will stay in the industry in order to pursue a career alone, though what she plans to do has yet to be revealed.
