2012
In 2012, Saori joined Houkago Princess alongside Matsumoto Ria as the groups 4th generation Candidates.
2013
On March 15th 2013, Saori was promoted to the Regular lineup alongside 3rd generation members Shiraishi Rika and Yamaguchi Miran. She was the first and only member of her generation to be promoted to the Regular lineup.
2014
It was revealed that, with the release of Manatsu no Yoru no Yume, Saori would become a dance center for the title song alongside Yamaguchi Miran. This would be the first single where Saori would be given a prominent lead.
On November 29th 2013, an announcement was made that, alongside Idol College's Ishizuka Shio, Saori would model for and collaborate with the fashion label DOWBL. As a part of the contract, Saori would also attend promotional events for the brand.
